Revised Illustrated "Doctrine & Covenants Stories"
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has published a revised, illustrated edition of “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” and accompanying videos online, 40 years after the original illustrated edition was published.
The text and images are now available online in Gospel Library and Media Library and thhe videos are also on the Gospel for Kids YouTube channel...
Latter-day Saints will study the Doctrine and Covenants at home and church as part of the 2025 “Come, Follow Me” curriculum for individuals and families. The colorful illustrations and clear, straightforward language in “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” teach scripture stories to children in engaging ways and are an effective tool for augmenting “Come, Follow Me” discussions each week and explaining stories from Church history.
The new “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” series also helps children who can’t yet read the standard scriptures participate more fully in family scripture study. Those who are new to the gospel can use “Doctrine and Covenants Stories” to better understand scripture stories and gospel principles. Other uses for other series include helping readers improve literacy and learn English.
